The Rehearsal Club once served as a "safe haven" for dreamseekers. Those who heard about the Club -- usually from their arts colleges -- and were lucky enough to be accepted, not only found the financial support to sustain living on the Isle of Manhattan, but more importantly, found emotional support provided among its like-minded residents who celebrated our successes and held us close through many a rejection.
Over forty years later, friendships created then are alive today.

With or without an agent; union or non-union, you need to learn how to do 90% of your own work. Although we don't know of any books by
Amy Jo Berman
(former casting at HBO), her "free" online advice to actors is highly recommended. Books by
Bonnie Gillespie
&
Brian O'Neil
(one of our RC "Johnnies," too, are a wealth of information and just published his latest edition!).
Casting Directors have the option to release Breakdowns to actors and receive submissions directly from them. Actors Access is where actors can view those Breakdowns and submit to them.
Actors Access is also an important tool for maintaining actors profiles by uploading and maintaining headshots, updating their resume, adding new skills and attributes, managing performance videos, and more, all online.
