​Tara Rubin Casting was established in 2001. Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with the preeminent writers, directors, composers, choreographers and producers of our day. Our experiences with these artists have helped us to develop a keen understanding and respect for the creative process. We are passionate about language, music and dance. We love actors and are endlessly resourceful in our pursuit of new talent. Our dedication to intimately understanding the vision of the artist and our expansive knowledge of the acting community enables us to be true collaborators in bringing productions to life.
Michael Cassara Casting is a leading New York casting office for theatre and film. Some current projects include Forbbiden Broadway: The Next Generation, the national tour of Spamilton, and the international tour of An American In Paris (dir. Christopher Wheeldon). Recent off-Broadway includes Fern Hill (59E59), Enter Laughing (York Theatre), numerous national tours, regional productions, workshops, etc. Resident Casting Office for the New York Musical Festival (since 2007) and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (since 2013). Upcoming projects include Mr. Holland’s Opus (BD Wong and Wayne Barker), About Love (dir. Will Pomerantz), and more to be announced soon.
Alison Franck (CSA) is a casting professional with over 20 years of Broadway, Off-Broadway, Touring, Regional Theatre, TV, Film, Commercial and Voice Over Casting experience. For a decade, she was the Casting Director for the prestigious regional theatre Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, where she cast over 50 productions with some of the theatre community's finest talent. Notable credits at Paper Mill include the Broadway transfer of I’m Not Rappaport starring Judd Hirsch and Ben Vereen, Anything Goes starring Chita Rivera, The Baker’s Wife starring Alice Ripley, The Chosen starring Theodore Bikel and John Lloyd Young, Baby starring La Chanze, Norm Lewis, Carolee Carmello, Michael Rupert and Chad Kimball, The Full Monty with Elaine Stritch, The Importance of Being Earnest with Lynn Redgrave, and was the original Casting Director behind the Broadway transfer of Godspell, which included Telly Leung and Uzo Aduba.

DAVID FRIEDMAN is a film and theatre composer, songwriter, author, lyricist and conductor based in New York City.[1] He received a 1997 Backstage Bistro Award for Composer of the Year[2] and a 1997 Johnny Mercer Award for Songwriter of the Year,[3][4] and a Special Lifetime Achievement Award at the 26th Annual MAC Awards.[5] His oratorio, King Island Christmas, won a Frederick Loewe Award and Dramatists Guild Award.[6] David's musical Desperate Measures won the 2018 Drama Desk Award for Best Music and Best Lyrics (Peter Kellogg) as well as the Outer Critic's Circle Award for Best Off Broadway Musical and the Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical.
SUE WINIK more than 35 years in the theatrical profession has given Sue Winik a unique perspective in dealing with her clients.  She is the second of three generations of a theatrical family and worked professionally from the time she was 10.  Her educational credits include degrees from Syracuse, Rutgers and a certificate in Arts Management from NYU. 
RICHARD STAFFORD's credits include Broadway: Choreographer for In My Life at the Music Box Theatre and Dance Supervisor for CATS. He has choreographed Off-Broadway and directed and choreographed over a hundred musicals internationally (Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Denmark) and regionally at The Paper Mill Playhouse, Theatre Under The Stars, Walnut Street Theatre, Pittsburgh CLO, Sacramento Music Circus, North Shore Music Theatre, North Carolina Theatre, Seattle’s Fifth Avenue Theatre and Westchester Broadway Theatre among others.
Richard has taught internationally, in New York City, and around the country. His Theater Dance class, helps develop a strong technique and draws on his extensive choreographic experience.
